CABO RACE UPDATE
From the RC RC Headquarters - Monday @ 01:15PM - By eMail report from the boat at 0800 this morning, Monday 3/13: Ramble On, a Beneteau First 44.7 has retired due to gear-failure. Ripped spinnaker and ripped mainsail has forced retirement. The crew is 100% ok. Their current plan is to get to Cedros Island and make repairs in the lee. The boat may consider sailing on to Cabo or to head north to Ensenada. Pursuant to the Sailing Instruction, the boat will continue to report their 0800 position daily until in a BCS port or in Ensenada.
