Our Traffic Engineering Aide positions closes May 3, 2024! Hurry and get your applications in.
Examples of duties:
Investigates the need for installation or modernization of traffic signals and for regulatory and warning signs, left turn or right turn only or permit signs, and pavement markings to help channelize traffic
Plans the placement of signs to limit parking
Prepares diagrams and scale drawings of street conditions
Requests traffic counts, interviews interested persons, and obtains accident data and other information from office files
Compiles and analyzes data
