Some of you probably noticed in my recent posts and competitions that I’ve been training with Baza Jiu Jitsu, so I just wanted to make it official here — I’m now representing Baza.

I have a lot of respect and appreciation for everyone who has been part of my journey so far, and I’m thankful for how well me and my family were welcomed at Baza.

Fiquei em 2º lugar nas divisões GI e NO GI. Sou grato pela oportunidade de competir e representar minha equipe.

This weekend at JJWL – The Worlds was special.
I took 2nd place in both the GI and NO GI divisions. I’m thankful for the opportunity to compete and to represent my team.
First, I thank God for giving me the strength to step on the mats. Thank you to my parents for their constant support, to my coach for always guiding me, and to my academy for believing in me every step of the way.
Thank you for hosting a great event. And big shoutout to — I love your rashguards! I totally recommend them for their quality, how light they feel, and because they match my vibe... I mean, who doesn’t love some rock n’ roll?
I also thank God for the opportunity to be there and do what I love.
Big respect to all my opponents. Each match taught me something important. I’ll keep working, fix my mistakes, and come back stronger.

Last Sunday was my first tournament after almost 6 months off the mats 🙏
At the end of last season, I competed in the last two events even though I felt something was wrong with my knee… I was still waiting for my MRI results, but I really wanted to finish strong 💪
Later I found out it was a partial ACL tear, and I had to stop everything — almost 4 months with no Jiu-Jitsu.
It wasn’t easy, but I stayed focused, worked hard, and thank God, I’m finally back! 🥋🔥
I’m very grateful to God, to my parents ❤️, to my professor 🙏, and to my team for always believing in me.
And sorry if I didn’t reply to some messages — I was 100% focused on healing and getting stronger 💥

Domingo passado foi meu primeiro campeonato depois de quase 6 meses parado 🙏
No fim da última temporada, competi nos dois últimos eventos mesmo já sentindo que tinha algo errado no joelho… eu ainda estava esperando o resultado da ressonância, mas queria muito terminar forte 💪
Depois descobri que era uma ruptura parcial do LCA e precisei parar tudo — foram quase 4 meses sem Jiu-Jitsu.
Não foi fácil, mas mantive o foco, trabalhei firme e graças a Deus, estou de volta! 🥋🔥
Sou muito grato a Deus, aos meus pais ❤️, ao meu professor 🙏 e ao meu time por sempre acreditarem em mim.
E desculpa se não respondi algumas mensagens — eu estava 100% focado na recuperação e em voltar mais forte 💥

Yesterday, I competed at The Finals Socal and got second place in both Gi and NoGi. I want to thank my parents for always cheering me on.
