Wishing my princess bride a very special birthday today. I’m so proud of the things she’s has accomplished and the person she is to the boys and I, and frankly, to everyone she knows.
She gets sweeter and sweeter as the days go by (I’m such a church boy).

It’s been 4 months since I’ve started running again after a 13 year hiatus.
Before I used to love zone out on my road runs, but this time around I am completely in love with the mindfulness of trail running. Aware of the terrain just a few steps ahead of you, enjoying the beauty of nature around me, listening to my body, and taking moments to just be present.
This weekend, I am looking forward to running my first race in 13 years, the Griffith Park Trail Marathon run by . I can’t wait.
