American Gold Star Mothers (AGSM)

HOME CHAPTER: Mission statement:

We primarily focus on helping the Gold Star parents and veterans, our older population, living at the American Gold Star Manor.

Extend needful assistance to Gold Star Mothers (and fathers) residents at the American Gold Star Manor (AGSM)

Maintain the ties of solidarity born of service, and to assist and further all patriotic work.

Give a sense of individual obligation to the community.

Perpetuate the memory of those whose lives were sacrificed in our wars.

Maintain true allegiance to the United States of America.

Show and inspire patriotism and love of country in the communities in which we live.

Be an example and lead respect for the Stars and Stripes in the youth of America.

To promote peace and good will.

If you’ve lost your child who was serving in the Armed Forces and would like the community of others in your situation, we invite you to join our organization. No one knows how you feel like another mother who has lost a child.

If you’re a member of the public, we participate in many memorial and patriotic events around Long Beach, CA. and you are welcome to join us.
