We can solve that problem and then some! Your hard earned money can go a lot further with CSEA. When you purchase See's Candies, you will directly impact a valued CSEA member's life. How? A portion of every purchase from the Spring storefront link goes to the CSEA Dorothy Bjork Assistance Fund, helping members in need. We know you're purchasing chocolate anyways! How does it work? Buy candy online and a portion of your purchase will be donated to the CSEA Dorothy Bjork Assistance Fund. It's that easy! You can start purchasing your candy now, and the orders will begin shipping on February 15, just in time for Easter and Mothers Day. The CSEA Dorothy Bjork Assistance Fund storefront for Spring candy closes on March 15.

CSEA Member Student Loan Reducer Program
Applications due Thursday, 2/15,

CSEA recognizes that student loan debt is a major burden for CSEA members. To assist with this burden, CSEA and valued benefit provider, SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, work together to offer some financial relief with the Member Student Loan Reducer Program.

This program allows CSEA to assist members with $500 grants to help pay down student loan debt of $10,000 or more. Twenty-two grants are awarded every year. Applications are being accepted now through February 15th, 2024.

Applicants must:

1. Be a member in good standing with CSEA

2. Have at least $10,000 in outstanding federal or private student loan debt for their own education

3. Have graduated a U.S. accredited college or university with a degree

4. Submit an official application by the February 15th deadline

All you need to do to apply is: Complete the Application for Member Student Loan Reducer, complete the Chapter Participation Form, and submit both with the required supporting documentation via email to [email protected] or mail to Member Benefits, California School Employees Association, 2045 Lundy Ave., San Jose, CA 95131 postmarked by the February 15th deadline.

CSEA Dependent Scholarship Applications are due February 1!

Are your children graduating from high school this year and headed off to college next Fall? Are they already attending college? CSEA has scholarships available for your dependents to apply.

CSEA $1,000 Dependent Scholarships - Application Deadline is February 1, 2024
CSEA offers $1,000 scholarships to dependents of CSEA members. Applications must be submitted along with all required documentation by February 1, 2024.

Pre-Application Worksheet -The Dependent Scholarship Application is an online form. There is no time limit to completing the application, however, your dependent will need to complete the application in one sitting, as there is no option to save your work and go back to it later. We have created this worksheet so you can make sure you have everything necessary for successful submission of the application.

Online Application Form - Feel free to forward this email to you dependents or have them go directly to www.csea.com/scholarships so they can read about the scholarship, download the Pre-Application Worksheet, complete the application, and submit the application with required documentation.

Union Plus Scholarships - $500 to $4,000
CSEA members and dependents are also eligible to apply for the Union Plus Scholarship with awards ranging from $500 to $4,000. Apply online by January 31, 2024.
