A Little History of USA
USA Market was originally owned by a local Cambodian family. Peter Wong took over in the late 80’s/early 90’s. The market was Cambodian style convenience store for the Molino block of Long Beach.
Sina, one of Peter’s relatives, took over ownership of USA in the late 90’s/early 2000’s after immigrating here from an internment camp in Thailand. Her children grew up helping her around the store and eventually became employees of the next owner.
