We are still reeling (pun intended 🎥🎞️) from the stellar time we had at Art Theatre Long Beach during our big June Teacher Training Institute! The teachers felt like the stars they are as friends, family, and the public gathered to watch the Freedom Writers documentary and some amazing films made by the teachers in session earlier that very same day.

“Oscars” were awarded, feather boas were flaunted, popcorn was enjoyed, and hearts were moved by all of the wonderful films. We can’t wait to be back at the Art theater in July for the next teacher training Institute! Big thanks to the Port of Long Beach for helping make this memorable evening possible. 🎥🎞️🌟

Erin and Tony had the honor of attending an awards ceremony at Los Angeles City Hall on Tuesday! Anne Frank LA was recognizing the winners of the “Your Story Matters” essay contest, and we were thrilled to cheer on a student whom we had the profound joy of mentoring at Green Valley High School: Kylie Goode. We were so proud of her as she read from her essay, and over the moon when she won a Grand Prize. Congratulations Kylie! Your future is oh so bright!
