Handmade bath melt favors for a bridal shower in Long Branch, NJ in March 2023.

Pt. 3 The Favors. I had a blast formulating, testing, and finalizing every detail of these little bath melts. There two were different versions, a relaxing rose & lavender one and a calendula, red clay & citrus one. Both were packed with hydrating and conditioning butters and oils which was a really nice pairing with the healing benefits of epsom salt. I must’ve made four different batches before settling on the formula. The goal was to create something soothing and beautiful, something that melted nicely in a bath but still easy to handle.

Pt. 1 The Flowers. I was lucky enough to gain two sisters last year. 🥹 My brothers found their people and both got married in 2023. In March, we showered Jackie with love and celebrated her and her upcoming wedding to my oldest brother, Mike. When you meet Jackie, you instantly feel like you’ve known her for years. She’s got the wisdom and familiarly of an old soul but the energy and spirit of a 6 yr old. I wanted the vibe of the shower to embody all of that, a mix of vintage vibes & fresh blooms wrapped up into one. Here’s a deeper look at the flowers I put together for her special day.
