🌹 The story behind Multiflora Rose…

A lot of people have heard the myth — that these wild roses were planted years ago as natural fencing to help keep cattle contained. And surprisingly… that part is actually true.

Back in the 1930s, the USDA promoted multiflora rose as a “living fence” and for erosion control because it grows fast, thick, and thorny. Sounds like a great idea… until it wasn’t.

Fast forward to today, and it’s one of the most aggressive invasive plants around, taking over fields, forests, and roadsides.

A reminder that sometimes nature has a way of outsmarting us 🌿

Have you noticed these growing near you?

The short answer? Usually, yes.

It’s very common for buyers to want to revisit the home before closing—whether it’s to measure for furniture, plan renovations, or just get a better feel for the space.

Many buyers worry they’re inconveniencing the seller, but in most cases, one or two reasonable visits during a longer closing period are completely understandable.

The key?
✔️ Always coordinate through your agent
✔️ Be respectful of the seller’s time
✔️ Keep the purpose clear and simple

Buying a home doesn’t stop at the accepted offer—there are always questions along the way, and that’s exactly what your agent is there for.

Love where you live.
