Oh, baby! It's time for maternity leave! 👶 Meet Erin Meyers who will be covering the clinic while I am away...
Erin has a practice specializing in orthopedic/sports acupuncture and works at Healing Warriors, a non-profit serving veterans and their families. She loves treating musculoskeletal issues of all kinds, particularly neck and shoulder pain, chronic headaches, sprains and strains, and post-surgical recovery.
At Southwest Acupuncture College she took classes in orthopedic anatomy, trigger point acupuncture, and sports medicine acupuncture and completed a clinical externship at the University of Colorado Boulder campus treating NCAA Division I athletes. She has focused her continuing education on orthopedic acupuncture, including workshops on EXSTORE, Advanced Stability and Mobility of the Pelvic Girdle, tennis elbow, and trigger point injection therapy. She is also a member of the Colorado Acupuncture Medical Reserve Corps, an organization of acupuncturists who volunteer their time and skills during disaster response, critical incidents, and community events.
Before becoming an acupuncturist, Erin worked as a personal trainer and as a researcher at the Institute for Behavioral Genetics. In her spare time she likes to hang out with her cat and chickens, pull weeds in the garden, and go dancing.

✨WHAT ARE PAY WHAT YOU CAN DAYS?
They are an opportunity to make acupuncture accessible to all members of our community regardless of their ability to pay. Those who can't afford the full price of treatment can still receive the benefits of acupuncture, and those who can afford a portion or full cost are invited to join me in paying it forward.
✨HOW DO THEY WORK?
You come in for acupuncture treatment (by appointment only), and afterwards, you pay what you can. If it's nothing, that's okay. If it's something, that's great, too. Anything you are able to contribute makes more days like this possible in the future.
✨WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Everyone! Whether you are a new or existing patient, you are welcome to come. Please keep in mind that sessions are by appointment only, and they go fast.
✨WHY DO I OFFER THESE?
I strongly believe in making treatment available to those who need it. Unfortunately, this must be balanced with the realities of owning and operating a business. Pay What You Can Days are my way of honoring my commitment to serve our local community, and I will do my best to continue offering more of these in the future.
✨SPACES ARE LIMITED
Treatment times will be strictly observed in order to stay on schedule and to provide the greatest number of treatments possible. COVID-19 precautions and protocols will continue to be observed. Cupping and herbal consultations are not included.

✨🌺✨ PAY WHAT YOU CAN DAYS ✨🌺✨
One of the core values that I established from the beginning in starting my business was supporting the local community. This is something that I take very seriously, especially these days. COVID-19 has affected a lot of people in different ways. Whether you are a fellow small business owner who has been forced to close, a furloughed worker, a parent who is now considering homeschooling, or anyone in any number of other challenging situations, I see you. These are difficult times, and often self care is the first thing to go on the back burner.
For this reason, I am offering two pay-what-you-can days. What does this mean? It means that you come in for a treatment, and afterwards, I ask what you would like to pay. If all you can offer is a smile, that's fine. If you are able to pay a portion, the full cost, or even greater than the full cost, you will be helping me to stay in business while also helping other members of our community to get the care they need.
The dates will be Monday July 27th and Wednesday July 29th, and the offer is for ACUPUNCTURE ONLY (no herbal consultations). Appointments may be booked through the website at www.HighPointAcupuncture.net or email me at [email protected].
If you are unable to come in on these days, don't fret. You will still be eligible for a separate discount that is typically only offered to seniors, students, first responders, military (active and veteran), and fellow small business owners. I call it the Gratitude Discount, because I am especially thankful for these members of our community. I am temporarily extending the Gratitude Discount to ALL PATIENTS. You can find details on my website at www.HighPointAcupuncture.net or email me for more information.
If you are unsure about acupuncture and would like to learn more, I offer free 30-minute phone consultations as an opportunity for you to ask questions and learn more about acupuncture and Chinese medicine. This can also be booked via the website.
It's time to take care of yourself. It's time to take care of our community. And it's time to make lemonade out of this sour "Rona." I hope you will join me.
