Sound Minion Studio

This bass player was super fortunate to get my hands on one of the new Anagrams sooner than many. I’ve used the Darkglass B7KU since 2018(?), maybe even longer? And the Vintage Ultra for a couple years before that.

The only things I’ve ever run in front of these preamps is one of my basses into my wireless receiver then a compressor, into my amp; usually an AG700. P

laying in underground projects usually means I don’t have the luxury of playing/touring with a dedicated sound tech so I try to get me bass tone as close as I can from the DI out to FOH. I try to leave as little guesswork to the tech of the night as possible. The Anagram makes that SO easy. I can split my signal, process the low, and mid-highs completely separately, then sum before DI out, AND send a signal to my amp before a cab IR, and post IR to FOH. I cannot wait to gig with this. Because it’s basically a mini computer o needed a new power supply to feed it a 9V 2A supply. to the rescue! The DC7 with Crux is probably over kill. But if I even want to add to my little fly board I’ve got a ton of options now.
