HAIL SIZE MATTERS

After every storm we get calls asking: “Did this hail damage my roof?”
The truth is — not all hail causes damage to asphalt shingles.

Nickel Size Hail (≈ 1 inch)
• Typically does NOT damage asphalt shingles
• May bounce off without causing bruising or granule loss

Quarter Size Hail (≈ 1.25 inch)
• Possible light damage depending on wind speed and roof age
• May begin causing granule displacement

Golf Ball Size Hail (≈ 1.75 inch)
