🚨 DEPLOYMENT UPDATE 🚨

This morning, the Longview Fire Department deployed 5 members of our TIFMAS (Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System) team to Central Texas to assist with ongoing, severe flash flooding and water rescue operations.

When disaster strikes our state, LFD is proud to answer the call and stand alongside our fellow first responders. Our highly trained team will be providing critical support and relief to the communities facing historic rainfall and rising waters along the riverways.

To our Longview residents: Please rest assured that our local staffing and emergency response capabilities remain fully intact while this crew is deployed.

Please keep our deployed members, all first responders, and the families in Central Texas in your thoughts and prayers until they return home safely.
