Luckily I don't! It's been a minute since I've performed by myself, while I just adore performing with my love it's nice to dance to my own drum every now and then!
When I decided to do rogue and I knew Hannah and I wouldn't be performing together I knew I wanted to do some sort of call and response to her performance.
My original idea was Mama's broken heart but, this one felt like I would have so much fun with it and it fit with the marvel rival's update, and it fit with the plot line for rogue and gambit from '97 where she decides that magneto isn't what she's looking for.
I haven't performed like this before, a lot of my performances even my idol ones were very story telling! So stepping out of my comfort zone for dance style and song choice was big and!! I had so much fun with it!
I'm so glad people liked my performance and saw my hard work, I was constantly practicing my tutting while I was doing anything that didn't need my hands. Also! I broke my hand last November and was going through physical therapy for my hand until about a week before con but, previously I have no motion in my left hand so! I think I definitely did really good for someone who couldn't use her hand like a month ago.
Everyone did amazing in the lipsync and I was in awe at everyone's performances! Oh my god!! Everyone worked so hard!
Thank you to the wonderful for recording the lipsync, you always put in so much work for the community and we appreciate you oh so much.(Also your performance was killer oh my god!! I was so absorbed into it the whole time!!)
Also thank you for catching photos of me performing, I never think to ask people to do that 💖 (I've got one as the cover for this that's why I'm mentioning it here 🌟 I'm excited to post about them later)

Well well look who it is? Our freckled and fearless coordinator ShougaNeko!
Bringing LongCon to life with the rest of the team and the library staff for the 3rd year in a row!
When not styling wigs or running himself ragged you can catch him spending way too many hours playing Genshin Impact, Persona 5, and fueling his dr pepper addiction.
Stop in to watch him and others give a panel on the basics of wig styling during LongCon this year~ let's see if we can't tame some of those flyaways together!
ShougaNeko is beyond excited to be able to bring LongCon to life again and help support the library and the community as a whole.

and I got to go to the Heartbeats ablaze event put on by we had such a fantastic time! The games were fun and the drinks by .themed.drinks were just so yummy!
We got so much fun Lads merch and played some really fun games! It was so cool to see everything they prepared and to see all the really cool artists!
The raffle was exciting to watch happen and see just how hype people got for some of their prizes!
We can't wait for the next event, with our little group in tow with us lol.

My wife and I had a wonderful time and clearly you can tell I was smiling so hard all you can see are the pearls on my eyelashes.
Meeting everyone and seeing familiar faces was so nice. Definitely need to do more events like this 💖 Everyone looked so good and so pretty and just 🥹

It’s good to see them, isn’t it?
Cora AKA the Northwest Good Witch has been a cosplayer since 2011 and in the lipsync community since 2022. They started their cosplay journey with an ebay prom dress and a party city wig.
They’ve competed, judged, and hosted in competitions throughout the PNW, including Geekfest Northwest, Chibi Chibi, and Rose City.
They love performing and being as extra as they can, making the stage their home and the audience their friends. They also love encouraging others and making the community a welcoming place for all!
This is their second year attending longcon, and first year hosting! And they hope to make it the best lip sync this side of the rainbow!
