Wow!!! What an incredible day at GAKAC-LC yesterday. It is always incredible to see our community come together to support our students. From each volunteer, church, business, and community partner, we are so thankful for each one of you. Without your support this would not be possible. Being a part of this event is life changing for all involved. We are so appreciative to be a small part of our student’s back to school journey. We pray this school year is safe and filled with lots of success, friendships, fun, and the love of Christ shining in each student’s lives.

For those attending our event today, there is an accident causing complete road blockage between N Locust and Springer Rd on Weakley Creek Rd. Please make alternative plans to arrive at LCHS.

TODAY IS THE DAY!!

We are so excited to see our registered students and families today. We are pumped to be a part of your back to school experience this year.

Here’s what you need to know:

- It is important that the registered student attends the event. There are a lot of resources provided that require the student to be present.

- Plan to arrive at LCHS at the assigned time on your student’s card they received in the mail.

- When you arrive, park in the parking lot on the end of LCHS near the old Columbia State building. From there you will enter through the main front office entrance.

EVENT UPDATE:

Our GAKAC-LC event date will be July 31st this year. Please remember that GAKAC is a pre-registration only event. All students attending the day of the event must have been registered. Registration for the 2021 event has met capacity and is closed.

Registered students and families will receive a post card in the mail in the coming weeks. This post card will provide your assigned time slot to arrive for the event and the event location. Due to the mass number of registered students, families should plan to attend during your assigned time slot. Please limit the number of family members that attend to help things move quickly. Once you arrive on event day, we will assign you to a group, and direct you through the event process. Please message us with any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you soon!!!
