Aka crumb catcher or crumb tray, or “majordome silencieux” which is the literal translation, so not sure what it would really be called in France . Anyone?

I’ve always loved these and have a couple in the shop currently. So, when my waiter at the restaurant in Normandy during my May trip actually used one, I couldn’t resist the photo op. Not many restaurants use them currently, but I have been to a few recently that have used them, so maybe this past time ritual is coming back? Or maybe I’m going to better restaurants 🤣. Available in store and online .

A favorite addition to my garden this year! This antique French copper lavabo is a perfect decorative and functional garden addition…. and look how handsome near my hydrangeas that are now in their full glorious bloom ! And the Crepe Myrtle !

I bring one or two of these back in each sourcing trip, and although I regret selling the most magnificent one ever at The Nashville Show in February, this one is perfectly simple and rustic against our stone walls. They’re perfect for porch or garden and were historically used to rinse dirty hands before entering a home, but were also used in kitchens or mud room equivalents before running water was available. I also have some decorative iron and enamel lavabos and fountains available. Come see them Saturday 11 July. We open 10-3.

G R E E N. It’s one of my go to colors to use to decorate homes (and shops). Look how well it looks with our black walls (another favorite color) … so dramatic. Come see our restocked and refreshed spaces at Columbia Antique Marketplace ! We took advantage of them being closed for July 4th and brought in new items to fill the gaps. Take a mini walk through of one of our spaces ! They open today 11-5; open Tuesday through Sunday! From the 1750s French oak piece that was stripped and has a secret drawer (ask us about it if interested), a few small tables (those seem to be quite popular), a two piece French hutch with painted interior. More pics soon… or go visit to see in person !

A wider angle ! Bling, black and green .

Walk through one of the! New small sideboard, small tables, and that fantastic 1750s French cabinet.

Another direction walk through! We brought in a two piece French hutch with painted interior. Great for bathroom, dining room, kitchen, or library.

You need to walk around different directions. You may have missed something the other way and different approaches make pieces look quite different and a new something may catch your eye.

A complete pan (almost). Visit us at CAMP to see all the things !
