After an unfortunate Memorial Day weekend rainout, we are back in action today at Wakefield Park. Go Colts!

TRYOUT ANNOUNCEMENT - 14U and 18U players in the Lorton, Springfield, Fairfax Station, Burke, Alexandria and Woodbridge areas.

Our 14B and 18B South County Colts teams have announced tryout dates for the fall 2026 season! Both teams have an established core that has played together for several seasons but will have multiple open spots available due to players aging up. All positions are welcome but both teams are in particular need of pitchers and middle infielders. Come join a great group of girls in a competitive but community-oriented program.

This summer, 11 of the 12 players selected to the Juniors SCLL Softball All-Star team and 8 of the 12 players selected to the 9-11 SCLL Softball All-Star team are current Colts players.

That kind of representation speaks volumes about the commitment of our athletes, families, and coaches across the program. From practices and lessons to tournaments and long weekends at the field, these players have earned every opportunity in front of them.

The future of SCLL softball is bright, and the Colts are honored to be a part of helping develop these athletes.

Thank you for every early morning, late night, snack bag, road trip, team dinner, load of laundry, and loud cheer from the stands. Thank you for the sacrifices you make so these girls can chase their dreams, build confidence, and create lifelong memories on and off the field.

This program would not be what it is without the love, support, and dedication each of you pours into it. We appreciate you more than words can say.

First tournament weekend in the books for our 10U Colts — and what a start.

They showed up and competed all weekend long. They went 1-1 in pool play, followed it up with a strong 1-1 performance in bracket play on Sunday, and earned a 3rd place finish in the Scoring Runs for Mental Health tournament.

Proud of the fight, the energy, and the way these girls supported each other.

This is just the beginning for this group!

🚨 TOURNAMENT ALERT🚨
Our 10U Colts take the field tomorrow for their first tournament of the spring! Pool play begins at 9 am at Wakefield Park in Annandale. Wish these young ladies the best of luck!

While we ultimately came up a little short in the championship game, we are so proud of our 14U girls for finishing runner-up in the Stingrays Spring Classic! The team outscored their opponents 42-18 over the course of the weekend, dominating in all facets of the game. It's clear that they've worked hard this winter and were eager to show that on the field. We have a challenging road ahead and these young women are ready to meet it!

We've been waiting all winter for this! It's time to hit the field this weekend for our first tournament of the spring, the Stingrays Spring Classic in Leesburg. Pool play games are 12:30 and 2:00 on Saturday with the championship bracket on Sunday. LET'S GO!
