Say hello to the newest addition to our pie family! Peach!

I've been disconnected / offline for the last couple of months now, actually kind of nice...So the short update is this: not working at Fatburger anymore, not working at Oto Oto anymore, still baking away at Hygge Downtown and just started reprising my role as Chef Stan at 7 Restaurant and Seven Bar, which is at the corner of 7th and Grand Downtown LA. I'm doing most of the classics from the Eastside Chippery, but of course I've added some crazy new stuff just for Downtown. 7 is open Monday - Friday lunch and dinner and Saturday just dinner.

It was a solid early morning of soup making at Hygge Bakery Downtown (11th & Hope) and then off to the office in Beverly Hills. It's always an interesting contrast between the world of Chef Stan and the world of big business. Chef Stan cooks, folks eat, everyone is happy. In the world of big business there are so many variables that make getting things done far more complicated. But when it all comes together it can be a beautiful thing...
