Just in case you were wondering… 🐣

It's that time of year again -- apps are open! I run the TKP Creative Mentorship Program, an experiential, hands-on, completely free program for South Asians who want creative careers but don’t know where to begin. Applications for Cohort 6 are now open!

This program provides support, knowledge, and guidance for entry-level or pivoting creatives who want to build sustainable careers in entertainment. Alumni have gone on to become actors (in both US and India), stage talent (Drunk Bollywood and DesiSNL), directors (Academy Gold Rising), and producers (we just celebrated a student Emmy nomination from the Television Academy!!)

Projects may include:

- documentary & narrative films
- script & project analysis
- grant writing
- website building
- graphic design, marketing, & branding
- business management
- & more!

The mentorships are customizable to your individual interests & preferred areas of development. Mentees will get personal and professional development sessions, the opportunity to learn and flex new skills, insight into the entertainment industry, and potential film credit depending on the scope of their involvement. One of my favourite qualities is that I’m not scared to look at myself and see what needs to be improved… and then do it. I never feel trapped in who I am today, which allows me to both love myself fully and also grow constantly. I truly love being me, and I know what a blessing it is to feel this way. HBD 🎈

The year was 2016 💃🏽

In 2025, I made it a priority to infuse joy in my regular routine. I dusted off parts of me that had been dormant, and challenged myself in ways I had hoped to never again (how wonderfully cyclic life can be!) I’m ending the year on an unexpectedly chaotic note, but I’m hoping it’s a sign of all the excitement to come 🤸🏽‍♀️
