We reworked the layout around a massive matte-black waterfall island, paired it with warm walnut cabinetry, and layered in soft under-cabinet lighting so every surface glows at night. Black-on-black appliances keep the palette tight and cohesive, while the linear pendant light ties the whole space together.
From the custom cabinetry to the finishing touches, this project is a great example of how contrast (dark tones against warm wood) can make a kitchen feel both sleek and inviting.
