Yesterday (5/14/26), I decided to do a very lowkey trip to Universal Studios trip with friends. It was consist of shopping for 70% off or selected Fan Fest merch, visiting Super Nintendo World. Also, went on the tram tour and saw Michael in City Walk. I personally saw the movie five times already 😅.

Will probably do one more random lowkey trip like this before the work grind get the best of me for a good while.

Late post 4/24/26 Universal Studios FanFest

I recently got a chance to Unversal Fan Fest. This is the second year of the after dark event. It is a separate ticket event. It is from April 23rd to May 16th on selected nights.

The must visits are the One Piece Grand Pirate Show and the Harry Potter Experience. The Solid visits are the Sailor Moon short flim and the Jurassic Park walkthrough experience in the lower lot. My Skip the visit are the Dungeons and Dragons and the Scooby Do/ Monsters back lot experience.

I didn’t get a chance to see the Yoshis over in Super Nintendo Worldn or did the Meet and Greet of Sailor Moon. I also didn’t get a chance to try any of the event’s food.

Overall, I had a great time considering I didn’t really invest time to see what IPs are going to be at the time. I feel like that a general ticket with early access will just do. I personally feel like that this is a one time visit event and not multiple visits unless you know and understand the IPs:

I got a chance to visit Knott’s Berry Farm for opening day of Boysenberry Festival on March 13th.

This Festival runs from March 13th to April 12th of this year. The main ingredient is boysenberry and it is in all of the foods/ drinks for this festival.

There is a tasting card that has six tastings for the following:
🎟️$55 plus tax, general price
🎟️$45 plus tax, passholders price (online only)

There are some meal plan options that are boysenberry inspired in selected quick counter restaurants.

This month as been a rough one dealing with life that is beyond my control, but still pushing through. Next month will be fun for sure.
