This DON’TS applied pre-pandemic as well. Babies do not form their blood-brain barrier for about two months and so they are at risk for more serious infections until that point.
Parents should always be careful regarding visitors with a newborn the first two months of life.
This doesn’t mean you cannot have anyone see your baby, but it does mean you should practice having visitors see them safely.
Don't worry about denying visits, nowadays it's very justifiable!

Our Story

Hello! My name is Ana, I´m 31 years old and I'm very happy to share
how did this occur to me which is something that many people have asked me.

So, here I go, my husband, my daughter Julia and I, 8 months pregnant, moved from Mexico City to Los Angeles completely alone, you can imagine...
A few weeks after arriving in California, Adrian, my second baby, was born, so imagine our life having to adapt to absolutely EVERYTHING! That was a real challenge.

And so began the activities and duties of the home, a daughter and a newborn. Many of these activities, even if you are an expert parent, are impossible to do with a baby in your arms.

So I began to create a comfortable position for my baby to remain calm while he was awake. Thus I discovered that he enjoyed the fetal position very much and that he was also resting. So with towels and pillows I recreated that position, but something happened, in a short time it lost form, consistency and support, so comfort did not last long.

So I started searching the internet for products that would help me maintain that position and I didn't find anything. I also investigated why babies like that position so much and all the information I found was the answer that motivated me, the benefits are wonderful and at the same time it was something very logical: simply because that was just how they were in our womb. So I began to work obsessively in achieving "something" that would maintain that position.

Since I decided to start this project I saw many attempts happen, but I had the best judge at home, if my baby did not like it, I modified it until he liked it. In the design you see now, my baby rests beautifully, and that filled me with an inexplicable emotion. He was no longer crying while I was taking care of household chores, he was awake and calm, without fear he hugged the central padded hand and rested his feet on the foot support. Mom and baby will be safe.

Seeing him so calm and so close to me, talking to him, singing to him, listening to music together, that made me feel that our connection was not lost, it was as if we were hugging.

At that moment, I felt the enormous responsibility of sharing it. I thought about all those challenges we face when we are at home, we all go through similar situations; We slept little, we get up very early, our coffee is never hot, we walk with poorly arranged hair, without makeup, if you do well in the day you bathe. Every day is a great challenge and letting your baby cry because you have to do things makes you feel like the worst mother and all those emotions do not help us to overcome the postpartum stage. So that's how Baby Baybo Company was born, with the intention of sharing what worked for us.

I am committed to making this wonderful stage of receiving a baby at home easier. I say goodbye emphasizing that I am a faithful believer that it is better for them to smell your scent, feel your skin and be close to you for a long time, and this assistant, as his name says, is for short periods of time, however, the assistant's soft arms will make your baby feel calm and you, mom, will feel that you are doing a great job.
