Broke down and stuck.
Belt tensioner seized up and belt slipped off (thank the gods for small favors, won't need to replace the belt). Tensioner runs $55.
Have to wait at LEAST a couple of hours for help from a friend to arrive and it is FREAKING HOT out here.
