I stopped for a minute today because this little harvest looked like it belonged in a Mediterranean postcard. The artichokes were heavy and imperfect in the best way, and the lemons added such a cheerful pop of yellow beside them. I placed everything on the stone wall outside, just where the light was soft enough, and it instantly felt like a tiny celebration of the season.
