Hey everyone! I wanted to share some easy breakfast and baking ideas that we loved this week, just in time for Easter.

These recipes have been a hit with my little one, and they’re either low in added sugar or completely refined sugar-free. You can easily adjust them for allergies or use the allergy-friendly versions.

They're packed with nutrients like fiber to keep your kids happy and healthy. If you give them a try, you’ll be serving up meals that are both delicious and good for them.

Hope you and your family have a relaxing and fun Easter. Enjoy from our kitchen to yours!

I've got a cool tip for making family meals healthier without breaking the bank. I'm all about adding nutrition wherever I can, especially for the kids.

I've mentioned this before, and it turned out to be pretty popular, so I'm sharing more ways you can use it. Besides just white sauce, you can sneak it into all sorts of pasta sauces.

I also mix blended white beans or butter beans into mashed potatoes and a simple bread dough. There's even a pizza dough recipe with beans hidden on my page somewhere!

If you give it a shot, let me know how it turns out. Keep this trick in mind for later.

If you're looking for more ideas, feel free to check out my page and book. As a pediatric dietitian, I'm here to help parents feel good about feeding their kids with smart, easy habits for healthy eating.

With Easter weekend coming up, a lot of people have been asking me how to handle all the Easter treats with kids. There's no single right way to parent; every family does what's best for them.

This year, I’ve decided to let A have some chocolate. She's getting old enough to notice it and she'll be around friends who are enjoying it too, so this feels right for us.

Events like this, with so much tempting food, can lead to lots of debates, especially when others are feeding your kids.

It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day feeding, but I really believe in thinking about how our choices affect our kids’ future relationship with food. My book talks a lot about this in the ‘Feeding Futures’ section, focusing on how our feeding habits shape them in the long run.

As a pediatric dietitian, my goal is to empower parents to feel confident about nourishing their children by turning solid nutrition info into easy, practical habits.

From dealing with picky eaters to putting together balanced meals, I'm here to give you straightforward advice. If you’re interested in tips, debunking food myths, or quick ideas for lunchboxes, I’m all about making sure kids enjoy good food while getting the nutrition they need.

Feel free to jump in with your thoughts or questions.

Let’s keep chatting about making food fun and healthy for our little ones.

Figuring out how to feed our little ones can really be a head-scratcher. Talking with other parents lately, I've realized we're all wondering why getting kids to eat seems so complicated.

Social media’s influence, the way we were raised, and how kids’ appetites change all play a part. Let’s face it, toddlers and young kids are unpredictable when it comes to eating because they're growing and changing so much.

This makes meal times feel like a wild ride, right?

So, if you’re stressed out about your kid’s eating habits, you're definitely not alone. Tons of us parents feel this way, and it’s totally normal.

As someone who’s focused on kids’ nutrition, I’m here to help you get comfortable with feeding your kids.

Using facts and simple routines, we can make meal times less stressful and more enjoyable. Whether it’s introducing new foods in a fun way or clearing up nutrition myths, I’m all about giving you tools for healthy eating habits.

We’re all in this together, and I’d love to hear your stories or any topics you’re curious about.

Let’s keep this space open for supporting and empowering each other as we raise kids who enjoy good food.
