Thank you and for bringing my family together for one weekend, or as aptly called it—“a canon event.”

Superman is a connection point for my family. Growing up, in a small collection of VHS tapes there was 2/3 of Superman: The Movie recorded from Encore—and we played that thing over and over.

This complete group hasn’t been in the same place in years, not since leaving San Jose. But this silly movie was the right push for my family to make a trip to watch it together.

I secured 30 tickets across 2 shows/theaters and nearly every ticket was claimed.

I met nieces and nephews for the first time, discovered there’s a niece on the way, new family, and reconnected with the kids that grew up.

It was one of the best weekends of my life. Thank God the movie was good ❤️💛💙
