This is not your average, boring salad. This is a robust, flavorful Chicken Caesar Salad that eats like a meal. Crisp romaine lettuce is the perfect canvas for tender, juicy grilled chicken. What makes this salad truly special are the homemade garlic croutons, which are crunchy and full of flavor, and the creamy, tangy Caesar dressing made from scratch. Topped with a generous amount of shaved Parmesan, every bite is a perfect combination of textures and tastes.
Ingredient For the Salad For the Dressing
Chicken Breasts, boneless, skinless 2 Mayonnaise
Romaine Lettuce Hearts 2-3 Grated Parmesan Cheese
Sourdough Bread, cubed 2 cups Lemon Juice
Olive Oil 3 tbsp Anchovy Paste (optional but recommended)
Garlic Powder 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
Salt and Black Pepper to taste Worcestershire Sauce
Parmesan Cheese, shaved ½ cup Garlic, minced
For the Dressing Amount
Mayonnaise ¾ cup
Grated Parmesan Cheese ¼ cup
Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
Anchovy Paste (optional but recommended) 1 tsp
Dijon Mustard 1 tsp
Worcestershire Sauce ½ tsp
Garlic, minced 1 clove
Black Pepper to taste
Instructions:
Make Croutons: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Toss the bread cubes with 2 tbsp olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, tossing halfway through, until golden and crisp.
Make Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together all the dressing ingredients until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Cook Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no longer pink inside. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Assemble Salad: Chop the romaine lettuce and place it in a large salad bowl. Add about half of the dressing and toss to coat the leaves evenly.
Serve: Top the dressed lettuce with the sliced grilled chicken, homemade croutons, and shavings of Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately with the remaining dressing on the side.

Get ready for the ultimate brownie experience. These are not cakey brownies; they are intensely rich, dark, and supremely fudgy, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The recipe uses both melted chocolate and cocoa powder for a deep, complex chocolate flavor. A shiny, crackly top gives way to a dense, moist center that's pure chocolate bliss. A sprinkle of flaky sea salt on top cuts through the richness and makes the chocolate flavor pop.
Ingredient Amount
Unsalted Butter 1 cup (225g)
Granulated Sugar 1 ¼ cups
Light Brown Sugar, packed ¾ cup
Large Eggs 4, room temperature
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder ¾ cup
All-Purpose Flour 1 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Bittersweet Chocolate (60-70%), chopped 6 oz (170g)
Vanilla Extract 2 tsp
Flaky Sea Salt, for sprinkling Optional
Instructions:
Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to lift the brownies out later.
Melt Butter & Sugars: In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in both the granulated and brown sugars until combined.
Add Eggs & Vanilla: Whisk in the 4 eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Whisk vigorously for a minute until the mixture is glossy. This step helps create the crackly top. Stir in the vanilla.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Melt Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chopped bittersweet chocolate in 30-second intervals until smooth.
Mix Batter: Pour the melted chocolate into the butter-sugar-egg mixture and stir to combine. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and fold with a spatula until just combined. Do not overmix.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt, if desired. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached, but not wet batter.
Cool Completely: This is the most important step! Let the brownies cool completely in the pan on a wire rack for at least 3 hours, or even overnight. Cooling them completely is the secret to a fudgy texture and clean cuts. Lift them out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang and slice into squares.
