📢TOMORROW, the tenants at Bartlett Hill Manor will be holding a press conference in bringing out awareness about their unacceptable living conditions and rent increases! Please come to show support for these tenants fighting for fair, livable housing conditions!

Bartlett Hill Manor is a LIHTC tax credit building, managed by LINC Housing, a large non-profit affordable housing developer. In 2018, the Bartlett Hill Tenants Association formed and united to fight against extreme health hazards and unsafe conditions during a rehab construction and renovation project that displaced dozens of residents.

Tenants received rent increase notices of 10% in 2024, 7% in 2025 and 5% this year. LINC had committed to not raising rents more than 2% a year but recent rent increases have reneged on that agreement 😒

Tenants are organizing to make sure that LINC is held accountable for their promises.✊🏽

Come unite with your neighbors and share your vision for stronger rent control and community power in Chinatown and beyond!

The purpose of the Town Hall is to discuss issues greatly affecting tenants in Chinatown, including 8%+ annual rent increases that are far outpacing income and leaving many tenants who do not live in RSO buildings extremely vulnerable to displacement.

Local politicians are invited to listen and respond to our community.

Seats will be prioritized for Chinatown tenants and workers. Cantonese and Spanish translations provided.

Registration is required so we can make sure there is sufficient seating and language accommodations.
