Staff Stories: Efrain Palma
Efrain Palma is a CENS Supervisor at HOPICS, leading outreach efforts and supporting his team in connecting individuals experiencing homelessness to critical resources.
For Efrain, it’s about showing up, building trust, and making sure no one gets overlooked. Through CENS, that connection to care starts on the front lines.
In this continuation, Hector shares how consistent outreach, patience, and genuine human connection helped change the trajectory of Mr. Robles’ life. What began as a simple interaction grew into trust, advocacy, and real support for a blind individual experiencing homelessness.
This is what outreach looks like. It is not just services. It is relationships. It is dignity. It is showing up even when progress feels slow.
At HOPICS, we believe every person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported with compassion and persistence.
Watch until the end and see how small moments can lead to lasting impact.
