NGHTMRE - STREET [TRANTIC Remix] is on Audius + Soundclound apart of the remix contest



Nghtmre has been my ultimate inspiration as an artist for the past 10+ years, ever since Street dropped. I had been slowly discovering electronic music in 2014 during the tropical house era, until this track hit the billboards after Skrillex performed it at Ultra for the first time.

For the last decade, I’ve poured my life into the music scene. constantly experimenting with different sounds and trying to carve out my own wave. For this remix, I pulled together all of my bass music influences and everything that’s shaped me creatively.

When I moved across the country to LA (similar to Nghtmre’s journey), the city’s culture and diversity had a huge impact on me. I remember arriving and realizing how much the underground scene loved techno. I didn’t fully understand or connect with the genre at first, but over time I opened myself up to all forms of dance music. This remix is the first time I’ve given my own take on that hard-hitting sound, which really comes through in the second drop.

This project came together so naturally because I genuinely felt like I was meant to make it—to show how far I’ve come and to express through music how much Tyler and the NGHTMRE project inspired me and set me on the path I’m on today. This one’s for you, legend.
