UCLA Game Lab
THE UCLA GAME LAB ENCOURAGES CONCEPTUAL RISK-TAKING AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW MODES OF EXPRESSION
We interviewed Evan Ibarra about QUETIAPINE, an experimental interactive work that transforms experiences of trauma, memory, and psychiatric treatment into something dreamlike and deeply unsettling. Through fragmented 2D/3D spaces, noise-driven soundscapes, and nonlinear interaction, the game meditates on what it means to live alongside both illness and intervention.
