From the balcony of my apartment near Santa Teresa, I had a front-row seat to the daily rhythms of a Howler monkey troop. In this moment, the male helps the mother and her baby navigate the gap between the trees. Beyond my lens I saw a mirror of our own hearts.

This year marks five years since I moved to the US 🇺🇸 and the hummingbird has become my guide. I only ever dreamed of visiting the Americas to see this magnificent creature in “real” life.
Right now, on a balmy evening in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 I sit among the sounds of the jungle and I wonder how far I can follow the hummingbird………
