Los Angeles Collection Service
Since 1975, Los Angeles Collection Service Inc. has made a commitment to the conscientious and ethical pursuit of account collections for its clients.
How can a debt collector contact a customer? Legally, the may only contact a person by mail, telephone, telegram, or fax. They may not contact them at inconvenient times or places, such as before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m., unless the customer agrees.
Why do we work so hard to help you preserve goodwill? Bad things happen to good people, and it’s possible a customer who is delinquent today could well become a good customer in the future.
When you get a judgment against another party, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get your money right away. Since many parties can be slow to pay what you’re due, you may find it’s better to work with a collection agency to close the matter.
Did you know that the likelihood of collecting on an account drops over time? After 6 months, the probability of collecting in full is around 50%, and after 12 months it drops to 23%. It’s a good idea to send past due accounts to collection sooner rather than later.
