I stand in solidarity with the writers & SAG/Aftra. My father, Valentin De Vargas who was a well known character actor was typecast & booked mostly Latino roles. During the 90’s work dried up for him & residuals were the only way that he could survive.I know that if he still was here, he would be picketing for actors rights! He was also a member of Nosotros the first arts advocacy non-profit group for Latin actors and was founded by Ricardo Montalban.
