RM curates an exhibition at SFMOMA, opening October 3, 2026.

The show will feature a selection of artworks from his personal Collection. Bringing together modern and contemporary works, including Korean artists alongside international names, the exhibition creates a dialogue shaped by RM’s own vision.

Curated by RM, it offers a closer look at the artworks that have influenced the way he sees and understands art.

Hajime Sorayama is a Japanese artist, born in 1947, based in Tokyo.

His work has been exhibited internationally, including galleries such as Nanzuka Art Institute and spaces like the Museum of S*x in Miami. Over the years, he has also collaborated with brands including Sony, Nike and Medicom Toy.

His work is defined by precision. Light, reflection, surface - everything is calculated, refined, repeated until it becomes unmistakably his.
