About PIECES
We support young adults ages 18-25 who are freshly out of high school, did not complete high school, that are in search of ways to continue producing art and learning an art form.
We at PIECES pride ourselves in providing opportunities in the arts to young people during their transition from childhood into adulthood. Many of our members find it nearly impossible to pursue a career or education in the arts or other fields, mostly due to financial stresses. Our members are no longer eligible for free or low cost art programs because of their age and because they often come from under-served communities.
We believe that everyone has artistic talents that should be explored and nurtured. We are driven by the power and the opportunities that creativity unlocks and have seen the magical transformations that the arts produce time and time again through our members.
