Today we remember our beloved Brother Wayne Kramer and honor his legacy by celebrating the powerful moments of this past year—each one made possible by him, and a reminder that his impact remains with us.

▫️Another FreshTracks graduation at C.A.P.O. was completed, continuing to empower youth through music, film, and the arts.

▫️Programming in prisons, jails, and juvenile halls continued, ensuring access to creative and rehabilitative opportunities.

▫️The Apprenticeship/Reentry Housing program grew, providing youth stepping down from juvenile hall with paid apprenticeships in film & editing or audio engineering while providing stable housing.

▫️Every Monday night, open AA meetings take place at The C.A.P.O. Center, providing support and community.

▫️Meaningful progress was made toward opening The C.A.P.O. Café, a youth employment social enterprise that will help young people gain work experience and earn wages to support themselves and their families.

▫️The podcast studio was built—the official JGD Open Doors Podcast is launching this year.

▫️Our youth developed a youth su***de prevention campaign displayed across Los Angeles, bringing awareness to our Youth Mental Health Circles that take place every Friday at C.A.P.O.

▫️In Jim Dunlop Daredevil Pedals and reverb.com the signature MXR Jail Guitar Doors Overdrive pedal was released, with most proceeds benefiting JGD.

▫️MC50 “10 More” Live was released as a bonus to the Heavy Lifting album.
