It’s important to me to keep my curiosity alive. I do it by bridging gaps between shop roles, learning new skills, and staying open to experimentation.
One of my favorite tools as a sign designer is an understanding of material science. It gives me flexibility! 😮‍💨

Even when a client’s budget is limited, it doesn’t fully restrict my creativity. By choosing economical materials, applying faux finishes, or rethinking how elements are combined, I can still design signs that are eye-catching, memorable and affordable.

I think of signs like cars in the sense that not everyone can afford a Lamborghini, but that doesn’t mean the only alternative is walking.
(…even though we can all use more cardio…am I right?)
