Painting brings me so much joy. I’m not the best painter, but I’m okay with that. Painting the mirror taught me patience and made me practice letting go. Perfectionism is one hell of a trait!! We are usually our own worst enemies. Its so easy for us to see the faults in our work and criticize every detail when it’s likely to be invisible by others. When I was painting, I’d allow myself to enjoy the flaws, accept them and continue on. I apply that to my life, too and it has helped me heal. Growth is acceptance 💕🌈
