This female patient in their 30’s had undergone raw silicone injections and was experiencing chronic lower back pain, buttocks pain, and leg pain due to the raw silicone injections. The patient felt their buttocks were too big and had pain-to-the-touch with redness of the skin - also due to the silicone injections. So, Dr. Katzen removed the raw silicone by making an excision above the buttocks in order to lift the buttocks and locate the raw silicone that had previously been injected. This transfemale patient from Ireland underwent raw silicone injections to their buttocks to augment their buttocks. Raw silicone injections are not a safe way to make your buttocks bigger. The patient was experiencing pain and redness of the skin due to the raw silicone injections. So, Dr. Katzen used Ultrasound-Assisted VASER Liposuction in Beverly Hills to find and remove the silicone in her buttocks. The patient is extremely happy with their results. What do you think? This 35-year-old female patient previously had silicone injected into their buttocks and lips about 15 years ago. The patient experienced localized pain, radiating pain down the leg, problems with sitting, and discomfort in the buttocks due to the silicone injections. The silicone had also migrated down to the patient’s right thigh. So, Dr. Katzen performed ultrasound guided VASER silicone suction to remove the silicone that had been injected into the buttocks. Today I removed silicone injections from a patient who traveled from Nashville, TN. She is 49 years old and received 4 sessions of silicone injections 17 years ago. The silicone was injected into the muscle and migrated from the buttocks to her tibia. She had been feeling a lot of pain in her buttocks and her tibia. This procedure took approximately 5 hours and we were able to remove a majority of silicone.
