Back in 2011, a few years out of college, I moved to LA to start a production company with my brother.

We eventually found our stride—working with major brands and artists, producing bigger and bigger projects.

But behind the highlight reel… we were struggling. An insurance disaster and a client who ghosted us left me buried in debt. Two credit cards were charged off, and my score tanked below 500.

For years, I ran my business on a debit card.
ZERO business credit cards for over 5 years.
I wondered how I’d ever access high-limit credit—let alone acquire income-producing assets like the gear we constantly rented.

I continued to produce hundreds of projects throughout the years but our margins were always razor thin.

I couldn’t figure out how to grow the business profitably.

I so badly wanted to financial flexibility and the freedoms that came with that. But I didn’t know where to start.

I tried other businesses and side hustles—
but every one failed due to lack of capital for inventory or marketing.

Then I discovered something no one had ever taught me: Business Credit.
