After being displaced during the fires, then left in limbo when the rescue that pulled him stopped responding, this sweet boy finally found the consistency and care he deserved. Our team stepped in, and his incredible fosters showed up for him every step of the way — and because of that, Shadow is now officially adopted. 🐾

💙 Meet Dakota: the dramatic, high-energy husky king of good vibes.

He’s everything you expect from a husky (and then some): talkative, goofy, dramatic in the best way, and happiest when he’s running, playing, or convincing you that fetch is a personality trait. He loves other dogs, prefers lady friends, and takes corrections like a total gentleman. Big energy, bigger heart.

Dakota is potty trained, crate trained, dog social, and soaking up all the leash-training structure his foster is giving him. Just don’t expect to scroll your phone on walks, this boy wants your full attention.

A few things Dakota would love in a home:
