Hi everyone, it’s been a hot minute! I’m here with very exciting news that the London Street Garden that myself and (Friends of London Street) have been diligently working on, is finally coming to fruition! We’ve secured a few grants for this community lead project, but of course, we need some help with the final costs to make this project a reality and ACTUALLY build it! Our plans have been approved by and so the final step is reaching out to the community to see if anyone has the interest in donating a few dollars to our Native garden project. This space is going to be for everyone and fill the green space gap for Region 2 of Silver Lake, which, as you may know is near and dear to both of our hearts. Back online after a communication breakdown! I’ve been traveling a bit and have been blessed to work on the East Coast for my brothers roofing company, I’ve missed my family incredibly, mis chicas son mi vida! I’m still working in landscaping, got my CA Native Plant Landscaper certification from (highly recommend going there) and hope to have more before/after photos of some beautiful homes soon. The transformation is incredible! So excited to share with you, my very talented friend is going to help me with the photos this project😎 stay tuned!

Some other things in the works…the London Street Gardens project in Silver Lake is making headway thanks to and other fellow community members, annnnd the is looking for organizers/volunteers to help with socials! The group is going to start meeting more regularly with the hopes of growing as much as the other trash clubs. First step, we secured the handle!
