Not many things annoy me, but I’ve always disliked going to a doctor and feeling like “patient #10.” I understood they were seeing a lot of people—but I also understood I only have one me. 🧑🏾⚕️✋🏾
That feeling has stuck with me throughout my entire career. I’ve always been intentional about making sure the level of attentiveness I give others is the same level I’d want for myself. 🎧✨
I truly believe I’m really, really good at what I do because I spend more time listening than talking. I’ll never force-feed information to anyone—EVER!. What good is the latest meta-analysis or perfect protein recommendation if it doesn’t fit your lifestyle or ends up stressing you out? 🧠💭
My job is to find the workaround that makes the adjustment feel natural and doable for you. And that’s something I’ll always put an insane amount of effort into. 💪🏾🔥

Just wrapped a session and realized I told my client this story before 😂 but I’m glad it hit home for her.
A few years back, my favorite cousin pulled up on me from across the country 💛. I had a 45-min workout planned after work, but instead of canceling it, I told her, “Look, I’m hopping on this treadmill for 10 minutes while we talk.” And I did. 🏃🏾♂️💬
Point is: don’t make your routine so strict that if life pops up, you throw the whole thing away. Life always gonna be life. Those little 10–15 min workouts add up. And if you can hit 3–4 short sessions a week? Trust me, that’s way better than giving up every time something comes up.
