I’m having such a wonderful time learning songs that I listen to throughout my life and really honing in on what made them so special. The melodies, vocal delivery, dynamics, and then making it my own. Challenging myself to sing songs that I would normally never attempt to sing seriously. This is quite rewarding for my writing process for my EP because it opens up so many doors for my creativity. I can’t wait to continue sharing my journey from my vocalizing practice videos in my car to working on new songs and finally delivering the EP. It’s going to be an intriguing journey and I’m glad you’re taking this ride with me! 🤩😎😍🙏

After seeing the Michael movie, I can’t get enough of the Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson’s music! was BEYOND WORDS! 💯 Having so much fun learning these Jackson 5 songs! It reminds me of how important it is to make your vocals as percussive as the instrument! It gives you an amazing challenge to keep the energy of your vocals as close to the energy of the track… Especially following the groove of that base! 😎💯

Our perspectives shift with our state of mind, making things lovable one moment and unbearable the next. Appreciate creations in the context they were made. Whether it's art or business, the intention behind it is what matters. Revisiting past works with new eyes will only equal to another version with a different perception. That’s why a Bob Dylan song sung by Whitney Houston will never be better. It will just be different and it’s up to the listener to decide what feels best at that moment in time. It's all about embracing what is.
