GOKU UPDATE!!

Dear Friends,

Because of you — and especially because of his incredible foster mom — Goku is doing GREAT. Not long ago, we were fighting just to save his life. Today, he’s up, walking, and even galloping. Watching him move again after everything he’s been through is nothing short of incredible. And his personality? It’s fully back.

Goku has discovered the joys of tennis balls, chewy bones, and stuffed animals, and he takes his toy collection very seriously. His days are now filled with playing, exploring, and slowly rebuilding the strength that surgery and recovery took from him. This is the outcome we all hoped for. But the reality behind saving dogs like Goku is hard.

His care has cost nearly $50,000. So far, we’ve raised just over $5,000.

We made the decision to move forward with his life-saving treatment because that’s what we do — we step in when animals have no other option. But if we want to keep saying yes to dogs like Goku, we need our community to step up with us. Rescue and rehabilitation at this level simply isn’t possible without donors who believe these animals deserve a second chance.
