Last Saturday’s library refurbishment at Esteban E. Torres High School—a highly anticipated refresh we spent weeks prepping for in advance! With about 90 volunteers consisting of our regulars and members of the school community, the displaying of canvases featuring inspirational figures completed by six of the school’s AP art students, and the cataloging and shelving of a brand-new, high-interest collection carefully curated by the school’s teacher librarian, the refurbishment turned out to be an unforgettable event for all in attendance. THANK YOU to our hardworking volunteers and their great turnout, and to the incredibly generous Webster Family Foundation, who made this special day possible 🧡💙 Happy, happy reading, Torres Toros! 📚🐂

Had an absolute blast at Burbank Blvd. Elementary’s refurbishment earlier this month.
