Never hurts to brush up on skills, even for the dogs (and handlers) who think they know it all! The rain pretty much stopped on Boxing Day, so Chenjie got his real Christmas present, a good day in the field working tracks I had laid 4-5 hours earlier. As I often get asked, here also are some equipment recommendations.

Reindeer Games. Chenjie doesn't really 'do' toys, being the big hunting dog and all that, but he seems to be prepared to make an exception with his daughter Sunny on Boxing Day...
