This week, our residents and staff created an advocacy poster filled with messages calling on Governor Andy Beshear to protect the Medicaid funding they rely on.
Every word on this poster represents something important: independence, opportunity, community, and the support that allows people with disabilities to live full and meaningful lives. These aren't just slogans—they're reminders of what's at stake for the individuals we serve every day.
Kentucky's 1915(c) Medicaid Waivers provide essential services that allow older adults and people with disabilities to receive care in their homes and communities rather than in institutional settings. These services help thousands of Kentuckians live with dignity, independence, and choice.
We urge Governor Andy Beshear to protect these critical Medicaid services. Cuts to these waivers would have a profound impact on individuals with disabilities, their families, and the providers who support them.
You can help make a difference by contacting Governor Andy Beshear and your state legislators and asking them to protect Kentucky's 1915(c) Medicaid Waivers and the people who rely on them.

It's move-in day! 🏠
Congratulations to The College for Living graduates Jacob and Brad as they officially begin this exciting new chapter in their new home. Today marks such a special milestone, and we're excited to celebrate alongside them.
Wishing you both all the best as you settle in!
Governor Andy Beshear, please protect Kentucky’s 1915(c) Medicaid Waivers.
These waivers allow older adults and people with disabilities to receive essential care in their homes and communities, helping them live with dignity and independence instead of being forced into institutional settings.
Thousands of Kentucky families depend on these services every day. Any cuts or changes that weaken the 1915(c) waivers would place vulnerable Kentuckians at risk and create significant challenges for caregivers and families across the Commonwealth.
Governor Beshear, we urge you to stand with Kentucky’s disability community and protect these critical services. Families across our state are counting on your leadership.
You can make a difference. Contact Governor Beshear and your state legislators today and ask them to protect Kentucky’s 1915(c) Medicaid Waivers and the people who rely on them.
